All that Remains 12

In 1963 the government of Canada, in collaboration with Cominco Mining Corperation, founded the settlement of Pine Point in the Northwest Territories. The town thrived, reaching a population of 1200, before the mine was shut down. When the mine shut down in 1988, the single industry town shut down, the site was abandoned, all buildings removed or demolished and it was left to be reclaimed by nature.
